  • Wat is het?

    An extract from the personal records database (BRP) is proof that you are registered in the municipality of Meierijstad. The extract shows your name, address, date of birth and place of birth.

    There are several types of extracts offering various types of data. That is why it is important that you indicate what you need the extract for.

    Request extract (BRP) (DigiD or eIDAS)

    You can log in with a European recognized log-in method.

    Do you prefer to go to the town hall? You can make an appointment (note: in Dutch) when you come in person

    Who can apply?

    You can request an extract from the personal records database for:

    • yourself
    • your child who is younger than 16 and lives at the same address as you

  • Bring along

    You will need a vaild proof of identification (passport, ID-card or drivers license).

    When you order online the extract will be sent within 5 working days.


    When you apply at the customer service desk you receive the extract immediately.

  • Additional information

    Please state for which purpose you need the extract. The customer service employee then knows which data needs to be on your extract.

    An extract from the personal records database (BRP) is not the same as an extract from the civil registry.

    Extract personal records database (BRP)

    An extract from the BRP is proof that you are registered in this municipality. An application is done in the municipality where you are currently registered.

    Extract civil registry

    A copy or extract from the civil registry contains information from a deed drawn up at birth, death, marriage, registered partnership, divorce, or termination of registered partnership. You can request a copy or extract from the civil registry office in the municipality where the event took place.
